TRADITIONAL USE: Ginkgo has a rich history in Traditional Chinese Medicine and was thought to have health-boosting benefits. Ginkgo trees are revered throughout Asia where this ancient tree has come to symbolise longevity and enlightenment.
BENEFITS: Ginkgo biloba leaf powder is nutrient dense and has adaptogenic qualities. It could increase circulation and has been thought to increase blood flow to the eyes so has been said to be good for vision and eye health.
HOW TO PREPARE: To take Ginkgo powder as a herbal supplement it is best used with boiling water and made into a hot drink. Equally it can be mixed into cold liquid, encapsulated or made into a herbal blend. Use 2-5g up to twice a day. If using for the first time it is advisable to start with a lower quantity and gradually increase.
